I love living at Longridge. I wish I had moved in sooner! The residents are very friendly and we all get along. We are well looked after by village staff and management. If we have any problems they are onto it straight away. My villa is warm and cosy.

"It Only Gets Better."
Being among the first to move into the village, things weren't finished, but the communication was great between management and us. All we had to do was ask and it was done. We were made to feel very welcome. Things haven’t changed, it only gets better. After looking at other retirement villages, we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We have made so many friends in the village.

Reasons include: A likeminded community which allows you freedom to choose a vast variety of bus trips, activity participation, involvement in the ‘Village Garden’. A ‘Happy Hour’ weekly where no financial input required. The villas are outstanding, well built, great variety of designs, warmth in abundance, price. Beautiful gardens attended by a great team. A very comprehensive library. Management who always put ‘residents’ first. The other major factor is proximity to the Coromandel, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga. Living under the Longridge hills is amazing, with a changing visual landscape daily. Make the right decision come and join us, we would love to have you."

I chose Longridge as I was looking for a retirement community out of Auckland with individual Villas. I loved the village on sight and decided it was where I wanted to live. The people are lovely and there is a real community feel here. There are regular day trips and weekly activities if you wish to join in. Socialising is easy and everyone looks out for each other. Paeroa is central to a lot of different communities 1 hour from Bombay, Hamilton & Tirau, 1/2 hour to Thames, Waihi and Te Aroha. I love it here.

I realised soon after moving into my Villa at Longridge Country Estate that it was a “Gem”. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design of the Villas, from their aspect to the sun, to the many features that have been incorporated within the design to enhance our comfort and convenience. My living room is really spacious and has this charming contemporary style that feels both luxurious and cosy at the same time.
The entire home is fitted with many safety features so that I can call on assistance at any time, should the need ever arise. I love the feeling of security and confidence that brings me. The community within Longridge is strong with a wonderful kinship. I have found a sense of belonging to an amazing group of people. There is certainly plenty to do at Longridge too and I can choose the level of participation that suits me. The staff who maintain our villas and gardens are so friendly and committed. I am so pleased I made the decision to come to live at Longridge.

What better choice have you to decide where to retire and enjoy what life you have left on this earth, but to buy a very new, warm, and cosy villa at Longridge Paeroa. There are very many choices of house plans, no lawns to mow, no windows to clean, and no gardening by choice should you be unable to do so. Or join many events to keep you occupied, whether it’s fitness, bingo, music, a variety of day trips away, shopping, fishing, shows, or are you an expert on a pool table, use of a beautiful massage chair with a friend, or are you a crafting person, or just to watch a Sunday movie at the Rec centre or just a weekly happy hour to catch up with like-minded residents. A choice we made to come to Longridge for all the above reasons to live in a laid-back country setting, easy commuting to shopping, beaches, golf courses, and a choice of areas only minutes to a couple of hours away. Come and join us while you have time to enjoy the rest of your life so don’t delay see you soon at our place.

We’re lucky to have found Longridge as a place to live. We have been at Longridge Country Estate since early June last year! We were in Auckland then moved to Tauranga before retiring to Longridge. We felt a warm welcome as soon as we moved in. We love our villa, it is very warm and spacious. Every area has been well thought out and designed with attention to detail for senior resort living. Any personal requirements are warmly received!
